About The Willow Practice

Therapy for Growth, Resilience & Self-Understanding

A supportive, non-judgmental space for teens, young adults, and pre-teens to explore what they are feeling, strengthen coping skills, and better understand themselves.

Growing up has always been complicated. It is harder today than ever before. Young people face pressures that are genuinely new: academic intensity, social media, shifting identities, and a world that often asks them to have it all figured out before they could possibly be ready.

The Willow Practice provides psychotherapy for pre-teens, teenagers and young adults. Founded by Sarah Lesser, a Registered Psychotherapist with 20 years working alongside adolescents, the practice offers a space where young people can slow down, make sense of what they are feeling, and build the skills to move through challenges with greater confidence.

At The Willow Practice, I believe every young person has the capacity to grow, heal, and thrive. Whether you are navigating anxiety, low mood, relationship challenges, emotional regulation difficulties, identity development, the demands of competitive sport, or simply feeling stuck, therapy offers an opportunity to better understand yourself and discover new ways of moving forward. Through a warm, collaborative, and strength-based approach, I help children, teens, and young adults build resilience, confidence, and a deeper connection to themselves.
