How Sarah Works
Compassionate, collaborative, and evidence-based care.
Sarah's therapeutic approach is grounded in the belief that every young person has inherent strengths and the capacity for growth. At times, life experiences, stress, or emotional challenges can make those strengths difficult to recognize. Therapy provides the support, insight, and practical tools needed to help young people reconnect with their abilities and move forward with greater confidence.
Drawing on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Strength-Based Therapy, Person-Centred Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy, Sarah creates a therapeutic experience that is both structured and flexible, always tailored to the unique needs of each client. Sessions are collaborative, practical, and focused on developing meaningful skills that young people can apply in their everyday lives. Together, Sarah and her clients work to better understand thoughts, emotions, and behaviours, build resilience, strengthen coping strategies, and create lasting, meaningful change.
Sarah's work thoughtfully supports three important areas of growth:
Understanding what is happening in their minds and bodies, including patterns, triggers, emotions, and the stories they may be telling themselves.
Reframing challenges as opportunities for growth, not by dismissing difficulty, but by helping young people recognize strengths they may not yet see in themselves.
Building evidence-based strategies they can use in daily life, at school, at home, in friendships, and during moments that feel overwhelming.
“Sarah offers a non-judgmental, warm, and genuine presence.”
Sarah brings clinical expertise together with genuine curiosity, working collaboratively with each young person to help them better understand themselves, build on their strengths, and develop practical skills for lasting change.
